Meet Briar. This firecracker came into the studio to celebrate her first birthday milestone with a Winter Wonderland cake smash theme! We were able to incorporate these pretty white twinkle light trees that I had just picked up from a wedding vendor and I added in some greenery as well. Mom wanted mostly whites with a touch of brown and green. We kept it pretty neutral so Briar could be the star of the show! She really liked her cake with it’s snowflakes - Mom did such a great job with the design! I added some additional snow during the editing process so it all came together perfectly!

When I found out I won the Bronze prize for the Community Votes Kingston 2021 contest I was so excited!! This is the second time I’ve been a finalist and it’s always great to know that so many Kingston and area parents love what I do! The Hijab’s Lina paired with our designer dresses from our client wardrobe closet were perfect! Lina loved each look we created with her and she felt beautiful and comfortable during her Maternity Photoshoot in our studio. We just love the portraits we created together!

Black and White Newborn Photography can be more emotive and show the connection and bond between parents and their newborn baby like in the case of Theo’s newborn portrait session. Because we used a lot of white in the session we were able to pose Theo and his parents where the connection showed without the distraction of colours and props.
